Research Findings on Handwashing using Emotional Motivators (EEHF, 2016)

Slides from a study to identify cross-cutting emotional and physical motivating factors that drive handwashing with soap. Presented at the Emergency Environmental Health Forum in November 2016.

This research study conducted in 2014-15 in Pakistan, Nepal and Philippines was the first collaboration between Oxfam and Unilever’s soap brand Lifebuoy which led to the development of the Mum’s Magic Hands programme.
